Desesperado con drivers WIFI

Hola.

He formateado un portátil IBM ThinkPad T30, pero no se han instalado los drivers del adaptador de red inalámbrico. Me los he descargado de la página de IBM http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-42358.html, me he descargado los 2 que hay porque no sé el modelo del adaptador, pero ninguno de los 2 me funcionan, son archivos ejecutables, he reiniciado y nada, sigue igual. También he probado en desintalarlos y reiniciar, pero tampoco. No sé si hay algún driver genérico que pueda instalar o algo, espero que me podáis ayudar.

Hola.

He formateado un IBM ThinkPad T30 y los drivers del adaptador de red WIFI interno no ha cogido los drivers de la biblioteca de Windows. Los he intentado instalar con el asistente y nada. Me he bajado los drivers de la página de IBM pero tampoco he podido. He proabado en dehabilitarlo y reinicar el equipo y nada ¿Sabe alguien de algún driver para adaptador WIFi genérico o algo así? Espero que alguien me pueda ayudar.

Sí, he instalado Windows XP. Y los drivers que me he descargado de la página de IBM soportan Windows XP, pero no funciona. ¿No hay entonces ningun driver genérico para adaptadores WIFI? tal y como ocurre con los drivers de sonido AC '97.

Pasa el Everest. Tal vez no estés instalado el driver correcto.

Efectivamente le he pasado el Everest y me ha indicado que el adaptador wifi que viene en la máquina es el "Harris/Intersil PRISM 2.5 Wireless 802.11b Controller". Pero ahora tengo otro problema, me he metido en mil páginas y no he sido capaz de encontrar el correcto. Incluso me he descargado varios y no me han funcionado. ¿?¿?¿?

What This Package Does

This package provides the firmware update for "IBM high rate wireless

- ThinkPad X30(*2)
NOTE *1: Only the following T30 models support the Windows Me:
2366/2367-x1x, x2x, x3x, x4x, x5x, A6x and A7x except
for M1x, M2x, M3x, M4x and M5x.
*2: Windows Me is not supported.

- Windows 98 Second Edition(*3)
- Windows Me

Installation instructions
-------------------------
NOTES:
- You need an AC adapter and a charged battery pack to update the
firmware.
- If your computer is attached to any kind of docking station or port
replicator, turn off the computer and detach it before proceeding.
- If a USB Diskette Drive is attached to your computer, turn off the
computer and detach it before proceeding.

1. Print these instructions or display on another computer.
2. Firmly connect the AC adapter to the computer.
3. Start Windows 98/Me or start Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP and logon with
administrative privileges on the target computer.
4. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
5. Click the Start button, then click Run.
6. Specify the file name with the full path name where you extracted
the package. Then click OK.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Windows will shutdown automatically and the Intersil PRISM Flash Utility
screen will appear.

Warning:
Do not turn off or suspend the computer until the update has
been completed. IF YOU TURN OFF OR SUSPEND THE COMPUTER WHILE
THE UPDATE IS STILL IN PROGRESS, THE WIRELESS LAN CARD MAY HAVE
TO BE REPLACED.

8. If the Multiple cards found message appears select the
"ISL 3874 PCI" option.

Primary Firmware update process starts. It will take about one
minute to complete.

9. If prompted again, select the "ISL 3874 PCI" option.

Secondary Firmware update process starts. It will take about five
minutes to complete.

10. If prompted again, select the "ISL 3874 PCI" option.

Verification process starts.

NOTE: If the firmware update is completed, the following message
will be displayed:

Verification Complete. Please remove the floppy and power off
the PC.

11. Turn off the computer.

1. Start Windows.
2. Double-click the IBM high rate wireless LAN Mini PCI adapter with
Modem II configuration utility icon in the system tray.
