ar5007eg no kiere entrar en modo monitor u.u

wenas, soy nuevo aqui.
spero que me echen una mano, soy algo novatillo todavia
me compre un packard bell ( EasyNote ) que venia con winvista

hice una particion y instale el ubuntu 8.10 creo ke es o el ultimo ke a salido.
a bases de guia para activar la Wi-Fi encontre en este foro uin enlace y que supuestamente entraria en modo monitor.
segui la guia pero no entra en modo monitor

aun sabiendolo instale el aircrack y el NG, pero estos me mandan a paseo en pocas palabras

iwconfig me salta esto:

supuestamente mi targeta es la ath0, es la ke tendria ke entrar en modo monitor ¿no?
si este es el caso aircrack me dice esto

proba con instalar el paquete madwifi

sudo apt-get install madwifi

no me encuentra los paketes, y si lo instalo a mano me da un error

si pongo tal como me lo dices

otra cosa, como seria para borrar una carpeta desde el terminal? dado ke tengo una y no me deja borrarla en el escritorio.

weno, el modo monitor ya lo consegi poniendo solo airmon-ng start wifi0
me creo el ath1

ahora tengo otro problema
de ke el airodump-ng al decirle ke entre al canal 0 ( todos )
si veo ke reparte info en todos porke veo como cambia, pero no encuentro redes cuando si hay
incluso la de mia no la ve el airodump-ng

ke puede ser ahora?

el make te dio mal, porque al parecer necesitas los headers de linux
